At one time, Chili’s restaurant had a Hawaiian Chicken Salad that I loved. This is the copycat recipe I found for the dressing. It is so good with a green salad with either chicken or ham and mandarin oranges and pineapple tidbits.
HONEY LIME DRESSING
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (or more if desired)
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil, optional
Whisk ingredients together in a mixing bowl. If you have trouble combining the honey into the cold ingredients, use a small hand blender. Store in a jar in the refrigerator for several weeks.
